“I sang about all the things God made. I sang silly songs. I sang about my family. I sang church songs and nursery rhymes.”

My brother and sister like playing soccer and dancing, but I like to sing. I sing in church, on stage, in the bush, and even in the shower. I sing to entertain, to learn, to bring joy, and to worship. Singing brings me comfort, especially when Mama sings me a lullaby at bedtime so I know I am safe. I sing because I love it.

I Like to Sing invites children and adults into the life of a little girl who uses her talent and love for singing to entertain and comfort others, all while showing the importance of the arts as a form of self-expression.
